A journey from a business and occupational-safety background to dangerous goods transport training.
Hello, I am Selma Demir. I am a trainer and Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) in the field of dangerous goods transport.
After a Business degree at Anadolu University, I pursued postgraduate studies in occupational health & safety, public administration and business administration. Part of my career was at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (General Directorate of National Parks), working on strategic management and EIA/HEPP projects.
Today I deliver training under ADR (road), RID (rail) and the IMDG Code (sea), and provide DGSA consultancy to companies. I also develop my own training curriculum and Vocational Qualification exam content, and I train the instructors of tomorrow.
Human and environmental safety is at the heart of every training and consultancy.
Learning through real field examples, good/bad loading practices and case studies.
Full alignment with the current versions of ADR, RID and the IMDG Code and national rules.
Content tailored to each company's substances and operations.
Just tell me the hazard class you handle, your team size and your city — I will prepare a tailored training plan and quote. I usually reply within 24 hours.
